Company profile
The company was founded in Sprockhövel on April 1st, 1960 by Kurt Heinzemann. First sheet-metal-works and welding were carried out. On August 1st, 1960 the company moved to Ennepetal and in 1962 entered the commercial register as Kurt Heinzemann Apparatebau und Stahlbau (apparatus-engineering and steel construction).
In February 1965 the company finally moved to premises in Gevelsberg, Hagenerstraße with an own production hall. In this new hall bigger and heavier work pieces such as concrete-steel-manufacturing-machines and conveyor systems have been manufactured for P.F. Peddinghaus, Gevelsberg. Since then conveyor systems are our main business.
In the eighties the field of steel-construction expanded. Shaft-appurtenance and parts for mining vehicles were produced for MAN-GHH, Oberhausen; even the steel construction for a brown-coal-excavator. These were the first results of this expansion.
At the beginning of the nineties Thomas Heinzemann, academically qualified engineer, joined the company. Thus the Know How was forcefully extended. In consequence individual solutions for our customers have been developed and realised; for example a CNC controlled drilling and burning machine, further big projects in the field of conveying equipment.
